When creeping bentgrass is provided with different quantities of photosynthetic light, you might expect the grass that gets more light to grow more. In the long run, that may be the case, but the rather dramatic photos here show just how much of a difference there can be in leaf extension with a gradient of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR).
